Abstract: 

In this article, we introduce a new method which allows utilizing all the available sub-stencils of a WENO scheme to increase the accuracy of the numerical solution of conservation laws while preserving the non-oscillatory property of the scheme. In this method, near a discontinuity, if there is a smooth sub-stencil with higher-order of accuracy, it is used in the reconstruction procedure. Furthermore, in smooth regions, all the sub-stencils of the same order of accuracy form the stencil with the highest order of accuracy as the conventional WENO scheme. The presented method is assessed using several test cases of the linear wave equation and one- and two-dimensional Euler’s equations of gas dynamics. In addition to the original weights of WENO SCHEMES, the WENO-Z approach is used. The results show that the new method increases the accuracy of the results while properly maintaining the ENO property

Abstract: 

A hybrid censoring scheme is a mixture of type I and type II censoring SCHEMES. When n items are placed on a life test, the experiment terminates under type I or type II hybrid censoring scheme if either a prefixed censoring time T or the rth (1 £ r £ n is fixed) failure is first or later observed, respectively. In this paper, we investigate the decomposition of entropy in both hybrid censoring SCHEMES. Entropy of type I hybrid censoring scheme is formulated and in order to determining the entropy of type II hybrid censoring scheme the available information are used. The results are then applied to some common life time distributions as illustrative examples.Finally, maximum entropy of the mentioned censoring SCHEMES is discussed.

Abstract: 

Heart disease-cardiovascular, cancer and obesity are the main causes of death and there are direct relationship between the consumption of high-fat foods and the incidence of these diseases. Therefore the demand for low-fat food products and probiotics has been dramatically increased. In this study, the effect of different levels of three hydrocolloids (inulin, chitosan and xanthan) at three levels (1, 2 and 3%) on survival of Lactobacillus acidophilus, physicochemical and sensory properties of yogurt during 15 days of storage was explored using a COMBINED design. Increased levels of inulin and chitosan positively affected La-5 count, apparent viscosity, acidity and sensory scores during storage. Using graphical method of optimizing (overlaid contour plots), optimum ratios were: inulin 93.4%, xanthan 0.6% and chitosan 6%.

Abstract: 

A major characteristic of polymerization reactors is their complex nonlinear behaviour. Due to this nonlinear nature, control of polymerization reactors has always been a challenging task. In this article the performances of three adaptive control SCHEMES, namely, self-tuning control(STC), adaptive internal model control (AIMC) and adaptive robust generic model control (ARGMC) are compared through simulation studies. The temperature control of polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA), which is highly exothermic, is chosen for simulation. Simulation results show that all three SCHEMES can control the process but the best performance belongs to STC scheme.

Abstract: 

‎The Frobenius complement of a given Frobenius group acts on its kernel‎. The scheme which is arisen from the orbitals of this action is called Ferrero pair scheme‎. In this paper‎, ‎we show that the fibers of a Ferrero pair scheme consist of exactly one singleton fiber and every two fibers with more than one point have the same cardinality‎. Moreover‎, ‎it is shown that the restriction of a Ferrero pair scheme on each fiber is isomorphic to a regular scheme‎. Finally‎, ‎we prove that for any prime p‎, ‎there exists a Ferrero pair p-scheme‎, ‎and if p>2‎, ‎then the Ferrero pair p-SCHEMES of the same rank are all isomorphic‎.

A (T, N) THRESHOLD PROXY SIGNATURE SCHEME ALLOWS ANY TOR MORE PROXY SIGNERS TO COOPERATIVELY SIGN MESSAGES ON BEHALF OF AN ORIGINAL SIGNER, BUT T -1 OR FEWER PROXY SIGNERS CANNOT.
